WORLD WIDE PUBLICITY FOR MALTA
Yet
again sports initiatives gain fine publicity
for Malta, this time, following the media
paths first trod by Rugby, Karting Club
(Malta) has achieved a great coup in being
featured in “VROOM INTERNATIONAL” magazine
February issue.
“VROOM
INTERNATIONAL” is the world’s leading
Karting Magazine, issued in more than 20
countries, in several languages, selling
10.000.000 copies each month. The coverage
for Malta is massive, and must be a huge
boost for tourism, business and sport as it
clearly opens up a “Malta Consciousness”
around the world of motor sport.
Coverage of the KC(M) Oasis Caffe
Championship has been arranged by General
Secretary Keith Attard, together with
Sr.Salvatore Mursas of “VROOM INTERNATIONAL”
and the first two races of 9th
December 2007 and 13th January
2008 will be reported in February.
Club
President, Noel Farrugia MP, said that “
this is a tribute to the hard work of the
Committee and Members of Karting Club
(Malta), who have done so much to establish
a professionalism in Karting which is
acceptable to the rest of the world. This
will allow gifted Maltese drivers to take
their place and compete with the world
elite, and is bound to create interest in
Malta as a venue.”
Karting Club (Malta) was launched in
September 2007 with the expressed intention
of improving standards to world requirements
and the response from members and foreign
observers has been extremely positive.
The
coverage by “VROOM INTERNATIONAL” is the
next step forward and is a triumph for
Malta.
